Last fall, I was contacted by a good friend and great designer Milton Mizell, who wanted me to create a web presence for the FUSIONMIA event. FUSIONMIA was a creative effort to bring attention to the African American fine art community during Art Basil Miami Beach, the world’s premier international art show for modern and contemporary works.

Fusion MIA, Where ART Fuses with Fashion, Film, and Music was conceived to bring more attention and business opportunities to the African and Caribbean Diaspora’s modern and contemporary emerging artists. It was accomplished during four nights and four days of trendsetting events attended by A-list guests. As premier lifestyle magazines Jones and Uptown chronicled the proceedings and celebrity chiefs doled out their culinary artistry, the drink of choice throughout the event was luxury vodka brand Grey Goose, who also sponsored the entire event.
